Born with an instinct toward discipline, responsibility, and purpose, Sarick answered the call to serve shortly after graduating high school in 2011. In 2012, he enlisted into Active Duty with the United States Air Force, becoming the first in his family to wear the uniform. What followed was a career shaped by global operations, accelerated leadership, and performance under pressure across multiple continents and commands.
Sarick’s early assignment to Ramstein Air Base marked the beginning of his exposure to high tempo international operations. As one of the Air Force’s most strategically significant installations, Ramstein demanded adaptability, precision, and maturity well beyond rank. Operating in a multinational environment, Sarick supported and executed missions across Europe and Africa, working alongside allied forces and navigating complex operational landscapes. It was here that he began to distinguish himself not only as a capable Airman, but as a leader trusted in high stakes environments.
During his time in Germany, Sarick participated in mission support and deployment operations spanning Romania, Poland, Slovakia, the Netherlands, Lithuania, Bulgaria, Estonia, France, Italy, and Sicily, as well as combat and austere regions including Afghanistan, Niger, and the Central African Republic. These experiences forged his ability to operate effectively amid uncertainty, cultural complexity, and operational risk. Decisions carried real consequences, and performance mattered. Sarick learned to lead with clarity, remain composed under stress, and bring cohesion to teams operating far from home.
His excellence did not go unnoticed. Sarick earned multiple commendations, including Diamond Sharp on two occasions, Airman of the Quarter twice, and recognition at both Group and Wing levels. He was named Airman of the Year, a distinction reserved for those who consistently exceed standards while elevating those around them. These achievements culminated in earning Below the Zone promotion, allowing him to advance to Senior Airman ahead of the standard timeline. This early advancement reflected both his competence and the trust placed in him by senior leadership.
Following his European tour, Sarick was stationed at Andersen Air Force Base, where operational readiness and strategic deterrence were paramount. Serving in the Pacific theater demanded resilience, adaptability, and sustained excellence. The mission tempo was relentless, and expectations were uncompromising. Sarick’s ability to maintain standards, mentor peers, and execute mission objectives reinforced his reputation as a dependable and forward thinking leader.
In 2016, Sarick was selected to attend Airman Leadership Training, an exclusive program designed to prepare high performing Airmen for greater responsibility. The following year, he was promoted to Staff Sergeant, officially entering the ranks of Non Commissioned Officers. As an NCO, Sarick transitioned from individual contributor to force multiplier, responsible not only for mission success, but for the development, welfare, and discipline of those under his charge.
His career progression continued with assignments to Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst and later Travis Air Force Base, two of the Air Force’s most critical mobility and logistics hubs. These assignments placed Sarick at the center of global power projection and humanitarian operations. At these bases, he operated in environments where precision, accountability, and leadership were non negotiable. His responsibilities expanded, and so did his influence.
In 2018, Sarick was promoted to Technical Sergeant, widely regarded as one of the most challenging ranks to attain in the Air Force. This promotion reflected not longevity, but mastery. As a Technical Sergeant, Sarick balanced mission execution with leadership development, ensuring that standards were upheld while cultivating the next generation of Airmen. He became known for his ability to navigate complex situations, resolve conflict, and bring out the best in diverse teams.
Throughout his military career, Sarick pursued higher education alongside service, reinforcing his belief that modern leadership demands both experience and intellect. His academic achievements complemented his operational background, enabling him to approach challenges with strategic awareness and long term vision.
